NHS and Care Volunteer Responders is a flexible volunteering programme supporting the NHS and adult social care across England.
The programme is in an exciting new phase and continues to evolve with new services being introduced. Our enthusiastic volunteers take on a range of activities to support the NHS and people drawing on social care. We’re working with the NHS and care providers to make sure the activities provide the maximum benefit to those who need support.
Volunteer Responders is being delivered by NHS England in partnership with Royal Voluntary Service and enabled by the GoodSAM Responders app.
The volunteer initiative has mobilised volunteers who are available to provide support to NHS services.
