A voluntary organization which provides free high-quality services and support to unpaid Carers over the age of 18, who support someone living in County Durham & Darlington.

Darlington Carers Support offers a variety of different services to local Carers.

We can work with you to help you find the information you need finding your way through the maze of services and support available to you as a Carer. We can support you in many ways including :

  • Information and Advice
  • Practical help with completing forms grants and other funding
    Carer Breaks
  • Carer Support Groups- opportunity to meet other Carers
  • Free Counselling sessions
  • Training
  • Benefit advice
  • New Benefit Support
  • Parent/Carer specialist advice and support
  • Digital connecting carers support – online help and support to operate computer smartphone, or device. If required, the possibility of equipment loan or purchasing new equipment if required.

  • A listening ear and telephone support
