Durham and Darlington NHS Talking Therapies is a self-help, counseling, and talking therapies service designed to help anyone registered with a GP in the County Durham (including Bishop Auckland and Dales, Easington, Durham, Chester Le Street, and Derwentside) and Darlington area to deal with common mental health problems such as stress, anxiety or depression, as well as panic phobias obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and post-traumatic stress disorder. Durham and Darlington NHS Talking Therapies is free and confidential for anyone aged 16 or over, and are not already accessing adult mental health services.

Referrals can be made via email by completing the referral form
